from London.
France is the corridor we run most, and it is a road move from door to door. We load in London, drop down the M20 to Dover or the Eurotunnel at Folkestone, and cross the Channel. From Calais the autoroutes open out — the A26 towards Reims and Paris, the A1 north, or south down the A6 and the Rhône for Lyon, Provence and the coast.
It is also the route where our premium and fine-art work comes into its own. Many London-to-France moves involve art, antiques and pianos bound for a Paris pied-à-terre or a restored maison in the Dordogne, and those pieces travel crated to measure, not simply blanket-wrapped. A whole home goes by dedicated vehicle; a smaller, considered move can travel as a curated part-load on the same run.
