London → Spain

Removals from London to Spain

The long road south — London down through France and over the border to the costas, the cities and the islands.

The route

Why this move
from London.

Spain is the destination we are asked about most, and it is a proper road journey: across the Channel, down the length of France, and over the border at La Jonquera onto the AP-7 that follows the Mediterranean. From there it is a run to the Costa Brava, down past Valencia to the Costa Blanca, or west towards Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

The London-to-Spain move spans everything from a family relocating to the coast to a collector moving a home full of art and antiques to a villa inland. Both get the standard the contents deserve — bespoke crating for the fragile and valuable, a dedicated vehicle for a whole home, or a curated part-load for a smaller, considered move.

For the Balearics we handle the mainland leg and the ferry crossing as a single job, so you are never left arranging the boat yourself.

Where we deliver

Across Spain.

Costa Blanca

Alicante, Jávea, Moraira and the inland villages — our most-requested Spanish stretch.

Costa del Sol

Málaga, Marbella, Estepona and the towns along the southern coast.

Barcelona & Catalonia

City apartments and the Costa Brava towns to the north.

Valencia & the east

The city and the huerta around it, on the coast road south.

Madrid & the centre

The capital and the commuter towns — an inland haul off the coastal route.

The Balearics

Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza — mainland road leg plus the ferry, arranged as one.

Customs, handled

No “sort it
at the border.”

Spain is outside the customs union now, so your belongings cross as a formal consignment. If you are becoming resident you may qualify for relief on the duty and tax for used household goods, which needs the right supporting documents and a properly valued inventory — all the more important where art and antiques are involved. We prepare the paperwork with you before departure.

Worth thinking about

01

Residency paperwork and customs relief go together — start gathering documents early and we will tell you what customs wants to see.

02

Fine art, antiques and pianos travel crated to measure and valued correctly on the inventory.

03

Island moves add a ferry leg — flag the Balearics at survey so it is built into the plan.

London to Spain — questions

Good to know.

How does a London-to-Spain move travel?
By road the whole way — through the Eurotunnel or Dover, down France, across the border and onto the Spanish coastal motorway. For the islands we add a ferry leg and manage it for you.
Can you move fine art and antiques to Spain?
Yes — with bespoke crating and correct customs valuation. It is part of our premium London-to-Spain service, whether for a coastal villa or a city apartment.
Will we pay duty on used furniture?
If you are becoming resident you may qualify for relief on used household goods, depending on your circumstances and documents. We prepare the customs paperwork and tell you what evidence Spain looks for; we do not give tax advice beyond that.
Can you store our things before shipping to Spain?
Yes — including fine-art conditions where needed. If your Spanish place or schedule is not ready, we hold everything in London and ship on the next suitable run.
